What is the earliest you have heard of/experienced of any child toilet training (daytime)successfuly?
Just curious if any knows a child who has toilet trained early (before 2 years) and successfully...
what were the circumstances, as in, what signs did they show to let you/parents know they were ready, how long did it take, did they use a potty or big toilet, was it a boy or girl those sorts of things.
Any info would be helpful

My daughter was fully potty trained at 16 months old. I know people don't believe me, or think I was pressuring her or something, but she totally did it on her own free will. At 15 months old, she was bringing us clean diapers when hers was dirty, and was squatting when she peed, so we showed her the potty, and showed her what it was for, and she just picked up on it really quickly. We initially still had her in diapers because she was so young, we weren't holding out much hope, but we switched to pull-ups (which I swore I would never use!), and then when we were continuously throwing away dry ones, we switched to regular underwear. They don't even sell underwear that small at stores - she had to wear 2T undies!
We have both a little plastic potty seat and a little ring that goes on the big potty, and she will even use a regular potty if we don't have one of those available (like in public or at someone else's house) - although, we have to hold her on the big ones, as she is still pretty little (she just turned 21 months on the 7th).
I also really think it depends on the child. And, I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not (even though I suspect it does), but our daughter had to have an ultrasound when she was just a couple of weeks old, and the technician said "Her bladder is huge!" Maybe this allows her to hold it longer? Also, I think that because she was so young, and we didn't really think that it was going to be as easy as it was for us, we took a really relaxed approach and kept things simple and fun, which I think really helped.
Whatever the reason, I consider myself very, very lucky!
