Pet Food Recall:Does anyone know how long it takes for the symptoms to show?
I had been feeding my mini dashund Iams pouch food (the numbers match) and I am walking on egg shells now waiting to see if she will get sick. What do I look for and how long will it take before I know we are in the clear?
My suggestion to you is to take a quick trip to the Vet. (better to be safe then sorry) a blood test will show any signs of renal failure.
Look for:
Lethargy
Vomiting
Not Eating
Diarrhea
Excessive Drinking of Water
These are all signs of Renal or Kidney failure. The sooner it is diagnosed the better the chances of recovery are. Call your Vet and see if there is anything else that can be A: a sign of a problem B: Can be done to diagnose it sooner (a blood test)
