I treated my cat with flea medicine and i'm not sure it worked?
I noticed that my kitten had a couple fleas on her. I bought some flea medicine( purrscriptions plus squeeze- on for cats and kittens under 5 lbs.) , and now it's almost like it has gotten worse! they are even starting to bite me!! We also have a dog, a boxer, but she is on flea medicine monthly. ( i don't know if that affects anything but i thought i'd mention). She is scratching more, and I am noticing that there are wayyyy more on her than before. did the flea medicine just not work? do i need to reapply? i put it on her 4 days ago. help me

is there anyway to kill the fleas in my house beside bombing the house?
Her flea medicine may only kill fleas she already has, but not the eggs. I can't remember what the life cycle of a flea is but you have to treat your cat twice. Once to kill existing fleas and again to kill any more that may have hatched after wards.
Also once fleas are in your home you have to kill them as well. They can live in the soil and the carpet and the furniture and EVERYWHERE!
Get a flea bomb asap and clear out the house. Also if you don't trust the flea medicine then go directly to the vets to get it from there from now on. Also wouldn't hurt getting some advise from your local vet while your there as well.
