ohh and heres the story sketch;;
Sage and Kitty are best friends who bring out the best in each other.
Sage calms kitty down when all her pillows are full of tears.
Kitty lets out the wildness in sage.
some turning points?
Sage is offered a 2-year stay at one of the biggest fashion schools in Paris?
Kitty gets into a writer academy in California?
Their parents become rival businesses and forbid their daughters to see each other?
none of these are really good, but idk all the good ideas are already taken.
they both live in NYC, but are total oppisties thats what makes them bffs.
kitty is the wild one, where Sage is the calm, mature one.
maybe a traedy happenss forcing kitty to grow up and take care of her friend.

The idea with business rivals sounds like another version of Romeo and Juliet. That might be a bit fun, you could end it in tragedy as well. As for the other ideas, they sound a bit boring to me. I would go for the modern day version of Romeo and Juliet, even though its been done a million times. It is a timeless tale.
