Make Up Pro's In Training - I Need Your Help!?
** This is the second time i post this so sorry if you saw it twice!**
Okay, so i'm invited to this huge wedding like 2,000 + people! I'll be wearing a Marc By Marc Jacobs dress in navy blue (this one : http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/3462... but on navy blue). With a pair of Lanvin navy blue with (faux) pearls, etc.. (on the actual shoe). Navy/black (black cause there's a lot of black on the flats) stockings and a silver clutch. This is my skin-color; http://www.tybinc.com/images/fp_platters... (Lt. brown).
I'm also thirteen, so what should i put on? I don't wanna look wayy over my age and i don't wanna look like i'm trying too hard. I want sophisticated, yet young-chic.
Hm.. I have light-ish brown hair, brown eyes.
Thanks in advance your answer means soo much to me
.
I would definitely leave off the eyeliner and foundation.
At your age I would normally say leave off the eyeshadow; however because it is a special occasin use a light wash of soft blue on your eyelid. It will look effective and pretty.
Brown mascara is fine as it looks softer. If you only have black just use one coat top and bottom to frame your eyes.
I would wear a light brush of colour on the cheeks for a healthy glow that looks so pretty.
On the lips I would use a lip balm that has a hint of colour or an extremely natural looking lipgloss. Pop into Mac and ask their advice on what lipglosses/lipsticks would look nice you on you. Emphasise it must be natural looking.
You don't need to buy from them as they are expensive but it will give you an idea. There are plenty of beauty products designed for teenagers Barry M is cool - experiment
A lot of young girls think it looks nice to pile the makeup on to look older; they end up looking like clowns (I was one of them).
Just remember LESS is MORE. You will look so much more prettier with a hint of makeup. You will find special brands in the drug stores designed for teenagers.
