What are some of your most successful money saving tips when you left your job?
Cutting out a second income looks detrimental to my family's lifestyle.
I really want to stay home with my newborn, but if I am going to have that luxury I HAVE to cut costs somewhere.
I have already cut coupons and planned my meals instead of just going to the grocery store and guessing. I can not believe how much money I have saved already. I now spend about $40 a week on my dog, cat, partner and I to eat!!! It is fabulous.

I've actually gotten into the ''art'' if you will of picking up other peoples ''junk'''and selling it on kijiji.com -for instance I made a $200 profit on a treadmill last week. I also sell my kids used and done with clothes that are in excellent condition as well as they're toys.
For me, when I looked at the cost of daycare to what my job paid-that was 8 yrs ago-It didn't pay to do so. I was losing money by working.
I've heard babysitting is good, especially if you can look after someone your childs age (as a playmate).
And you're right. It's really not as hard to do as some people make it. It's just whether or not you're comfortable making sacrifices.
