How to make furniture on second life?
I need help. I have my house but I need to buy land for it... and I will but I need furniture, And I want to make it but how do you make a chair and stuff?
Use Search - Events - Educational to find classes. Start with the easy ones, because intermediate and upper level ones are fast paced, and you'll get evicted if your inability to keep up disrupts the class. I've taken classes on building candleabrums, chairs, hideaways, shoes... In every one I learned techniques which could be used in the sort of builds I make myself.
You CAN absolutely build furniture inWorld, you don't need Photoshop unless you want to make tectures or build some sorts of clothing or avatar stuff which requires manipulation of layers. (And there are alternatives to Photoshop too.)
Also search for the Ivory Tower of the Primitives, where there are GREAT self paced tutorials.
You can also rent land rather than buy; a lot of people prefer to have residences on the islands rather than the mainland.
