Whats the best way to deal with large olive oil cans?

I bought a large olive oil can and I found that since it's full I am having a hard time pouring the oil out of it into the pan. It gets everywhere and simply holding the side of the oil can is enough to make it spurt out of the top.

Hey I like the turkey baster idea of getting the oil out of the can and into the secondary container! I shall try that cause right now I have to juggle the can and the secondary container and hope it all goes into it (If I remember I use the funnel too, but sometimes the can misses the funnel!).
My secondary container is a bottle that has a stopper on it, like the ones you get for your liquors. It closes when the bottle is upright, and opens up when you tilt the bottle (like you do when you are adding the oil to the saute pan). Of course this is for when you want to add just a little amount of oil. I do not use alot of olive oil at one time since I don't bake with it. The stoppers can be found at a speciality kitchen gadget store. Just a couple of dollars for a cheap one, or up to 5 dollars for the nice ones with the bead in it.
