Does your dog eat healthier than you and your family do?
We eat organic food as much as we can, cook from scratch most of the time, go to the gym 4-6 times a week, etc.
Our dogs eat grocery store dog food.
I have seen many who will jump people for feeding grocery store dog food, but then they allow their kids to eat all kinds of crap, eat all kinds of crap themselves, and so on.
So, I'm just wondering who eats as healthy as their dogs, who eats healthier than their dogs, and who eats crappier than their dogs.
No, I put my health over that of my dogs, but that said the nutritional content of the food I give my dog is important to me.
I researched the ingredients listed on the bags of food, asked the manufactures of various brands of kibble if they used human grade meat & chose a kibble with ingredients I liked, that suited my individual dog & that I could reasonable afford.
I wanted to know if the meat I was feeding my dog, {who doesn't have a choice what it eats}, was fit for human consumption {which unless organic is still chemically laden} & not *pet quality* which means it could be riddled with disease or anything which makes it too low a standard for humans to eat.
My dogs currently have one raw meat & one kibble meal.
