FIV and Feline lukemia in kittens?
We have two bottle babies that were rescued from a barn Yard there were about 20 cats rescued thier mom was not one of them she ran away and never came back so the people who rescued them found us to bottle feed them they are seven weeks now and they will be eight on friday we are getting them tested that day what are the chances they hav FIV and or feline lukeima?
ohh and how often do we feed them KMR second step formula they dont seem to want it anymore and they are drinking good water and eating solid food regularly?
Thanks in advanced!
P.S they are good weight and active and eating well if that adds anything to the FIV or feline lukeima ?
please tell me the truth and dont be mean becuse we are going to keep them there are only two
They were only with thier mom like 3 days if that probley not even that cuse we got the at 4 days and they had already rescued them
There are five precepts that Reiki practitioners say every day. One is "Just for today I will not worry".
Since your kittens seem to be thriving they are probably clear or either of those diseases. You can even get a "false positive" on them when they are so young. DON'T vaccinate them for leukemia! They will subsequently always test positive for it.
Cats with FIV and leukemia can live great lives - maybe not to age 18-20 and that doesn't mean you won't love them and they won't bring joy to you however long they may be with you.
Just for today (and every day) do not worry. We humans do not control the universe. Each person or animal has its own agenda here on earth and are to be treasured as long as we have them with us.
