My kitten is soooooooo picky with his food! I don't know what to feed him!?
So, I have a 5 month old male kitten. He won't eat any soft food (as in those canned ones that are all mushed up together like a paste). He USED to eat Fancy Feast.. so I even tried changing it around to Wellness, Science diet.. etc. Doesn't matter. If it's like paste, he won't eat it.
So I have been feeding him Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys (It has chicken chunks and stuff). HE LOVED THAT. But I can't just feed him that, so I started feeding him Whiskas Purrfectly Chicken. He LOVED that. But he only licks off the gravy off of that.. and now he doesn't even eat Elegant Medleys!! I can't just feed him that gravy!
I'm getting so stressed out because he wastes so much food and I had to throw away a whole grip!!! I don't know what to feed him.. HELP!!
My cat's are the same way, I think they would shrivle up and die of starvation before they ate that mushy food. The only food they like is dry Whiskas Meaty Selections, I don't blame them it actually smells pretty good and that wet mush is just disgusting. So try that out on him mabey. My oldest cat is 5 years old and she's very healthy on a water and whiskas diet. Ps they used to eat tuna but now they just sip the juice up and waste the rest IDK why. Try some tuna on the little guy as well.
