How can I 'unglue' a heavy duty double sided which i used to hold a 'velcro' so that it can hold my curtains

thanks for ur reply. im sorry. but i forgot to say that the dbl sided tape is glued to the window to enable me to hang the curtain. one side of the velcro is sewn on the curtains. the other side is glued to the window

use an iron. put it on a low setting, place a cloth over the top of the double sided tape and it should peel off with no fuss
