Received a coupon for a free bag of Purina One brand kitten food. Should I use it?
I noticed there were a few negative reviews on the Purina brand. I have a 9 month old kitten, and right now she's on Iams because she kept getting diarrhea from Nutro when she was younger. I've had no troubles with Iams, and I've had 3 cats before her, so I'm aware of the switching food brands over time.
However, I received a coupon in the mail for a free bag of Purina One the other day, and it expires in March. I've read that it doesn't contain much nutrition value, which isn't beneficial for kittens during their first year.
However, right now any savings towards my wallet would really help. Inexcusable to some, but I'm sure others can understand the small financial situations like these.
So, should I redeem the coupon or throw it out?
Should you excercise the option of disposing of it you can give the food to an animal shelter .
