why did the new cat pee on my couch and bed?
I have 2 male cats and I took in my sister's female cat over a month ago. She recently peed on my couch and bed. The litter box was over full too. I did not have time to change it. What is the most likely scenario? Is she peeing because she is trying to dominate the other 2 male cats or because the litter box was too full?

She for one is marking where she thinks is her place in the house. And she clearly does not like sharing the box. I have had this happen to me time and time again. There is a stay off spray that you can use to keep her from wanting to go on the furniture. They hate the smell of it. You wont be able to smell it after it drys but she will. IF you dont stop her the males will start doing it and you whole house will start to smell like a cats behind. IF your males are not "fixed" you may want to before they start marking their territory also..
