this cat is wandering around my house?
ok so there is cat
we have been in my house for 2 days now and this cat is always walking around our house. my grandmother has said that she has seen it around here before, like a couple of times.
i decided to pet the cat today. i have found out that it is a she and she is completely white with lime green eyes. she seems to like me. but idk. she has no collar. should i put up 'found' signs or just wait and see? should i give her something to eat?
oh and she also continues to scratch her face on like everything! whats that supposed to mean?

Rubbing her face on things is one way cats mark territory. She's claiming the place as hers. You should ask around the neighborhood to see if she belongs to anyone. You can put up posters too. She needs to be fed. Don't feed her anything with garlic, onions, or chocolate. If you have some chicken sandwich meat, that would be perfect. If you don't find an owner and plan to take her in, have her spayed ASAP. She's probably pregnant. Having her spayed will terminate the pregnancy and help keep her healthy. If you do plan to keep her, she needs to be indoors so she's safe from dogs, cars, etc. If you can't keep her inside, she needs to go to a shelter where hopefully someone will adopt her to a good indoor home.
